Time Machine Bikes

Time Machine Bikes are a specialist used parts supplier, stocking parts from new and used MV Agusta, Ducati and Aprilia motorcycles. We stock all parts from engines to fuel pumps, including all the fasteners, brackets and mountings that hold it all together. All parts are considerably cheaper than new and, more importantly, are available here and now!

Steampunk Motorcycles

What if technology had taken a different path? Harley Davidson 4 Valve Big Twin Sportbike

Digging around in some old images I came across this bike and I have zero information about it but as you can see, there’s something very interesting here. Housed in a custom sportbike frame is a Harley Davidson big twin, with 4 valve heads no less! There is some type of induction system with velocity stacks sticking up through the tank and beyond that, you know as much as I do, … or do you?

New Yamaha Vmax from Tokyo Motor Show

The advance ticket holders are already spewing out loads of photos from the Tokyo Motor Show, we hope to have some of our own shortly, but in the meantime, you might like to see these, a design study of a new (hold your breath!) Yamaha VMax! (Or is that a Star Vmax? yuk!) This was noted briefly on the Yamaha website but here are the photos.

Kettenkrad - the motorcycle tank

Yesterday’s post about the single tracked all terrain motorcycle designs reminded me of these WWII motorcycle tank hybrids. Very odd vehicles and I’m not really sure of the reasoning behind their construction, why the motorcycle front end was necessary isn’t clear, the one site says it’s for stability at high speeds and you actually could remove it in really rough terrain, but they do look interesting.
